Amber, Office Manager for Monumental Dental Montrose, describes her Colorado practice as “a general family dentistry. We do everything here at this practice from just a simple cleaning to an implant placement. We cover all prosthodontics. We do dentures, and we do crowns.” Maintaining quality patient care and high productivity in busy clinics like Monumental Dental requires a simple and organized system for processing claims.
Claims processing made quick and easy
“I love that if something gets rejected, it breaks down why it is rejected,” Amber explained, “I can directly put in any edited kind of information. I don’t have to reprocess a claim.” If the ID number is incorrect or the patient was inactive in their insurance, it [Vyne Trellis] clearly reveals to team members why the claim failed to process.” Amber highlights that “attachments are super easy–especially with the screen capture. I can do an EOB or a periodontal maintenance charge…add any attachment including secondary. Having those explanations of benefits and being able to just go in for a secondary makes it very simple. Very organized. It helps it flow really nicely and our claims process really quickly.”
Amber found the unified electronic platform’s capabilities enabled the dental office to navigate challenging transitions, simplify the claims process, and make training new team members simple and fast. With a focus on the financial, physical, and emotional care of patients, Colorado’s Monumental Dental Montrose utilizes the Vyne Trellis® platform to provide high-quality patient care. “Vyne Trellis helps our claims get processed very quickly. It’s great.”
A smooth training and integration experience
“We’ve had several different dentists come in and out of this practice. We are trying to find our right fit, and we’ve had to process a couple claims with different tax ID numbers and that was huge,” Amber shared.
Noting this transition could pose challenges for practices that work from paper, Amber and her team members were able to avoid confusion and interruptions to regular processes as Vyne Trellis seamlessly organized the dentist’s different tax ID numbers and helped avoid delays in patient eligibility. “I try to check eligibility the day before just to make sure there aren’t any surprises for the patient and Vyne Trellis really helps with that.”
“Vyne Trellis is very user-friendly. It is not complicated,” Amber explained, “because it can get complicated. Especially with all the different claim numbers and patients and insurances…to have it in just one place and [be able to] see this is rejected [and] I have to work on this or this one needs an attachment and this is the exact attachment that they need. It’s great. It communicates very well.” Having everything in one place with easily accessible attachments has also made training new employees a fast and efficient process. Amber observed that even employees with no prior experience using technology in a dental office have been able to easily and quickly adapt to Vyne Trellis.
“I love Vyne Trellis, and I think it is great to communicate with everything. I’m happy that we got it…and moving forward with the future dentists that we’ll have at this practice, I look forward to the transition being smooth and not complicated.”
